Tom touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Tom’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his sister Pam Hay. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Ovelson and Winnie Ovelson; and his sisters, Melissa Riopel (Jordan) and Michelle Eriksson (Phil). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Weber's Mount Pleasant Chapel (2 Mt Pleasant Dr, Camrose, AB T4V2L7).
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to a charity of one's choice.
