She was predeceased by : her father Aaron Nasipayko; her brother Terry Nasipayko; and her mother Nora Nasipayko (Nasipayko). She is survived by : her children, Shaun Kuny (Dawn) and Hilary Kuny; her grandchildren, Taylor Kuny, Colton and Brendan Kuny; her siblings, Carla Seier (Gerwin) and Douglas Nasipayko (Terry-Lynn); and her husband Andy Kuny. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Valerie's name can be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
