He was predeceased by: his wife Lena Sworin; his parents, Julia Sworin and Peter Sworin; his siblings, Bill Sworin and Julia Pretula; and his brothers-in-law, John Pretula and Stanley Semaskewich.

He is survived by: his daughter Geraldine Joan Snyder; his grandson Mikael Snyder; his sister Olga Semashkewich; and his sister-in-law Olga Sworin.
