Peter Szmata Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Szmata of Grimshaw, Alberta, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter Szmata to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Tony Szmata and Annie Szmata. He is survived by : his brothers, Nick, Metro and John; his wife Doreen Isabel Montgomery; his sons, Brian, Donald, Robert and Sheldon; and his grandchildren, Andrew (Tamara), Chad, Brenden (Allie), Everet, Krystian, Kendra Szmata, April Fairless (Corson), Chantielle Fortin (Sebastien) and Alicia (Braden Moon).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 253 (Grimshaw, Alberta).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grimshaw Minor Hockey Association or Colits Foundation.
