Wally Szumera Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wally Szumera of Grimshaw, Alberta, who passed away on April 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Wally shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wally farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Halina Szumera; his parents, Marinna and Wawrzyniec Szumera; his daughters, Joanna Forman (Troy) and Agnieszka France (Chris); and his grandchildren, Bradley, Cynthia Forman, Selina and Cole France.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Memories (9813 101 St, Peace River, AB T8S1J6).
