He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Walt of Hanna Alberta and Pearl Merriott of Trenton Ontario. He is survived by: his children, CarolAnne, Sharon Walt of New Zealand, Lynn Walt-Benson (Ken) of Brantford and Gail Forgie of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Tyler Benson (Teresa), Ryan Benson (Danielle), Kyle Forgie (Chloe) and Allison Forgie; his great grandchildren, Katie, Max, Gus, Fox, Millie, Alden and Alyssa; and his wife Eileen.
