He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard Tschaja and Anna Tschaja; his siblings, Wittold and Hedwig; and his brothers-in-law, Elmer Pettersen and Jim Barrett.
He is survived by: his wife Simone; his children, Murray (Stephanie Lunty) and Lori Bruketa (Thomas); his siblings, Mary Pettersen, Jean Tschaja and Ed Tschaja (Rita); and his grandchildren, Sean, Grace, Josh Bruketa, Kurtis and Shawn Lunty.
Memorial donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Forestburg and District Community Enhancement Fund; Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories; or the Charity of Donor's Choice.
