She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Heisz and Opal Heisz; her husband Alex Kushner; her grandsons, Ted DeWinter and Trever Haines; and her siblings, Ina, Ida, Ila, Irene, Leo and Lyle.
She is survived by : her children, Brenda Hillis (Russell), Kurt Kushner (Charlene), Carl Kushner (Joanne), Dianne Haines (Gary) and Marian Sperling (Ed); her grandchildren, Robert, Brittney, Cole, Keira, Alex, Jordan, Sarah, Leeanne and Jason; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Emma, Oliver, Sawyer, Kenzie, Carly, Tayden, Madilee, Charlie and Hunter; her brother Paul Heisz; and her sister-in-law Polly Stafford. She is also survived by the grandkids and then great grandkids.
Just this past month, a Nurse at the Covid immunization clinic remarked to us that she remembers Mom and Dad driving in bad weather conditions just to volunteer at a flu clinic and whenever they were short of volunteers, they could always count on Mom and Dad to be there.
