She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen McMechan and Ron McMechan; her children, Twyla (Kirk), Todd (Pam), Debbie (Brant) and Dean (Elisabeth); her grandchildren, Kyle (Samantha), Tye (Claire), Breanne (Nick), Chase, Ryan, Tegan, Lachlan, Matteus and Sebastian; her great grandchildren, Jessa, Kenna and Jack; her siblings, David (Pat) and Linda (Joe); and her cousins, Teacher, Coach and Horsewoman. She was also cherished by her family members, all of her friends and all of her animals; Daughter, Sister, Mother, Nana, GG, Aunt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara to Christ Church Millarville or the local Humane Society.
