She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Blenner-Hassett and Eileen Blenner-Hassett. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Shimek; her children, Nichole Heisler (Dale), Geri-Lyn McOuat (James) and Ryan Shimek (Sherry); her grandchildren, Ashley Morrison (Kyle), Wyatt, Brooke, Grace Heisler, Lillian and Henry Shimek; her great grandchildren, Emersyn and William Morrison; and her siblings, Bill Blenner-Hassett (Karen), Robbie Innes and Betty Montsko (Ed). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
