She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Palmer Nelson and Alma Nelson of Queenstown. She is survived by: her siblings, Ken, David, Julia, Sheila and June; her foster daughters, Monique Browne and Joan; her brother Chris Nelson of Lethbridge; and her sisters-in-law, Julie Nelson of High River and Charlotte Nelson of Vulcan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
