He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Samuel Ling and Kathleen Ling; his children, Diane and John; and his sister Leona Nicoll.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Wong (Allen) and Brent (Stephe). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
