It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Reginald Brown of High River, Alberta, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis and Jewel; and his nephews, Robert Brown and Christopher Lott. He is survived by: his wife Lyne; his son Sonny (Leslie); his daughter-in-law Shelby Brown; his sister Bev; his brother-in-law Charlie Lott of Strathmore, AB; his siblings, Lloyd Brown of Dawson Creek, BC and Brenda Gaehring; his half-siblings, Jamie Peacock of Whitehorse, YT and Jacquie Peacock of Whitehorse, YT; his uncle George; and his aunts, Pat Ellwood of Terrace, BC and Dennette Wentzell of Joffre, AB. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Les was a member of the Strathmore Poker Run for several years, raising donations for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta and he made many long-lasting friendships with the other members.
