Margaret Eunice McLeod Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret “Eunice” (Gall) McLeod of High River, AB on November 9, 2019.
Eunice will be eminently missed by her son Brian Pearson of Teulon, MB and his children Jesse (Vanessa) Pearson, Bri-Anne Pearson (Jordon Mikula) and Jordon Pearson and her daughter Charlene (Pearson) Costello of Charlottetown, PEI and her children Ian Costello (Ricky Rodrigues) and Cayley Costello (Ben Cudmore). Eunice will be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren Brody, Grayson and Aubrey, dearest family friends Lorie and Ed Schmidt of High River, her sister-in-law Jean (Dudgeon) Gall of Melita, MB and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband (father of Brian and Charlene) Art Pearson, second husband Dallas “Joe” McLeod and brother Charles Gall.
Eunice was born in Turtle Mountain, MB on March 31, 1938 to the late Winnifred (Swinn) and David Gall. She attended school in Portage la Prairie and Teulon MB where she met and married Art. Eunice worked outside the home throughout her life, in her years in the Teulon area as a manager at the Teulon Hosiery Mill, a bookkeeper for the Massey Ferguson dealer and then owned Pearson’s Service. Upon moving to High River, Eunice worked for many years at Eamor’s Saddlery where she met and married Dallas, and Cooney’s Transfer before retirement.
A private family burial will take place at the Highwood cemetery.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 16, 2019 12:30 – 3:30 in the Heartland Room at Season’s Retirement 660 7th Street NW, High River.
