He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jean I. Smith and Frederick W. Smith of Sussex; his brother Gary; his wife Joan Smith; his sons, Bradley (Deanne) of Grande Prairie and Brent (Stracey) of Red Deer; his grandchildren, Evan, Cameron, Makayla, Hailey and McLean; and his siblings, Leah Vermette of Sussex, Ronald (Dale) of St. John and Allan (Elizabeth). He was also cherished by extended family in New Brunswick and a community of friends.
