He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonsine Lavigne and Joseph Lavigne. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Josephine Ruddick; his children, Andy Lavigne (April) and Dena Lavigne (Dwight); his son-in-law Ken Alexander; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Friesen (Jesse), Melanie, Tonsi (Dale), Kenneth Alexander, Andrea Summerville (Shane), Tami Vangaalen (Ryan), Pamela, Lackey (Mark) and Kristen Weir (Shane). He is also survived by many great grandchildren, and numerous family members.
