She is survived by: her children, Rick Vanderveen (Bonnie), Linda Malony (Shawn), Jim Vanderveen (Sue), Terry Shuflada (Lolita), John Vanderveen (Angela) and Judie Vanderveen (Joe); her grandchildren, Megan Vanderveen, Laura Kulyk (Danny), Dana Martinez (David), Jaqulyn Benard (Henry), Matthew Vanderveen (Amy), Nick Vanderveen (Savannah), Josh, Brett, Stephan, Ben Shuflada (Hailey), Joyce Vanderveen (Tyler) and Chelsea Emms (Adam); her great grandchildren, Colton, Hudson, Alizabeth, William, Everliegh, Quinn, Chidi, Liam, Jaxson, Brock, Amara, Adaeze, Leo, Joey, Aiden, Mia, Ava, Ray, Kai and Kaivy; her siblings, Sally Renkama (Jake), Leo Bil (Ann), Harry Bil (Janet), Gary Bil (Joan), Ann Bil, Margreat Bil and Pam Bil; and her close friends, Randy and Katie Kopp. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #51 (5016 5 Ave, Edson, AB T7E1T4).
