He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Michael Lutz (Cheryl), Jody Kawalilak, Tracy Eleniak (Darren) and Aaron Lutz; and his siblings, Walter (Jeanie) and Alice McKenzie (Gene). He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bruce Community Centre (404 Main St, Bruce, AB T0B0B7).

“Our deepest condolences to all of the Lutz family. Ben was a big gentle giant who was loved by all. He liked everyone and everything never finding fault even with ittle girls who thought one in the morning was a great time to play the piano while waiting for her parents to come and pick her up. We were so happy we were able to have a great visit with Ben last fall remembering all the good times we had having toast and jam no matter the time. Don, Pauline, Lisa, and Sandi MacKenzie”
