James Alfred Oster Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2026, at the age of 73, James Alfred Oster (Hussar, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Oster and Fern Oster; his parents-in-law, Dave and Iris Morgan; and his nephew Scott Oster.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Oster; his children, Michael Oster (Roxane) and Laura Smith (Russell); his grandchildren, Blake, Ella, Andrea and Adam; his brother Gerald (Jan); his niece Cindy (Lee); and his aunt Shirley Dorin. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller and Area Health Foundation - "Palliative Care" or the Drumheller District Humane Society.
