He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Stark; his sister Phyllis Jensen; his parents, Arthur Solberg and Leona Solberg; his grandson Jamie Deck; and his brother-in-law Gerald Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Darcy Solberg of Red Deer and Teresa Solberg of Red Deer; his grandchildren, Jessica Atkinson (Cody), Kyle Howard, Clay Howard, Amber Solberg and Makayla Solberg; and his siblings, Shirley Anderson of Penhold, Alberta, Karen Westman (Ross) of Biggar and Henry Solberg of Penhold. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Services Chapel (4415 49 St, Innisfail, AB T4G1S6).
