She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Smith and Joyce Smith; and her brothers, Gordon and Roger Smith. She is survived by : her husband Freeman; her children, Angela Budvarson (Brent) and Troy Gundersen (Diane); her siblings, Sylvia Smith and Ed Smith (Fran); her grandchildren, Randy Gundersen (Victoria), Amy Budvarson (Connor), Natalie Lynn (Spencer) and Eric Budvarson (Becca); and her great grandchild Parker Gundersen. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Innisfail Food Bank.
