Elenora Sawyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Elenora Sawyer of Innisfail, Alberta, born in Acme, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ross Alton Sawyer of Carnduff, Saskatchewan.; her son-in-law Ed Linde; her parents, Valentine Schleppe and Katherine Schleppe; and her siblings, Catherine, Clara, Joseph, Clarence, Raymond and Rene.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Sawyer (Brenda) of Innisfail, Cheryl Poulsen (Bjarke) of Bowden, Lynn Linde of Innisfail, Arnold Sawyer of Innisfail and Allan Sawyer (Denise) of Parkland County; and her grandchildren, Jason Sawyer (Krystal), Trevor Sawyer, Dylan Sawyer (Deb), Michael Poulsen (Kris), Tanya Poulsen, Lorene Bergquist (Brad), Jeremy Linde (Shayla), Crystal Sawyer, Kris Sawyer, Janelle Eisnor (Austin) and Alec Sawyer. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (4304 49 Ave, Innisfail, AB T4G1S6). A burial will be held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at the Our Lady of Peace Church (4304 49 Ave, Innisfail, AB T4G1S6).
