He was predeceased by: his parents, Elec Marr and Elsie Marr of Prelate, Saskatchewan.; his brother Francis; his siblings-in-law, Irene (Jim), Nita Cooper (Al), Kerri, Rose (George), Liia Herman (Derrill), Keith Smith (Barbara Ann) and Paul Peregrym (Hazel); and his nephew Doug Bowman (Smith).
He is survived by: his daughter Tamra Elaine Mary (Kevin) of Calgary; his wife Nyna Herman of Innisfail; his children, Thomas Marr-Laing (Lisa) of Red Deer and Timothy Mastel-Marr (Loree) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Christopher Marr-Laing (Kiana) of Victoria, Kate Marr-Laing of Montreal, Cassandra Mastel-Marr of Edmonton, Samantha Mastel-Marr of Kingston, Kerri and Kimberley Dorma of Calgary, Alberta.; his siblings, Barbara Ann Smith of Edmonton, Hazel Peregrym of Kamloops and Jim Marr of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan; and his in-laws, Al Cooper, George, Derrill, Ted Herman of Innisfail, Peter Herman (Marg) of Bowden and Alana Anderson (Neil) of Duck Lake, Saskatchewan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
