He was predeceased by: his parents, Snowden Daines and Ethel Daines; his brothers, Jim, Jack, Norman and Glen Daines; his daughter Stacey Greig; and his nephew Darcy Daines.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dial; his children, Dixie Ouellette (Guy) and Adam Daines (Karolyn); his son-in-law Richard Greig; his grandchildren, Chance Ouellette (Calan), Madison Froehler (Mitch), Jace Ouellette, Jamie, Ryan, Zackery and Ashlyn Greig; his great grandchildren, Rory, Zeke, Tatum, Teighan and Tori; his brothers, Ivan and Danny Daines (Dusty); and his siblings-in-law, Lennie, Robbie Dial (Ada), Marilyn, Audrey, Donna and Kay Daines. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
