He was predeceased by: his siblings, Max, Margaraet, Gabe, Julian, Agnes and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Chris Benko (Robyn) and Michelle Seiferman (Leon); his grandchildren, Riley, Jordan, Katelyn, Kristin and Kayla; his parents, Michael Benko and Elizabeth Benko (Horvath); and his sisters, Irene Merk (Vern) and Helen Osborne.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #104 (5108 49 Ave, Innisfail, AB T4G1R1).
