We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2026, at the age of 83, Jean Francois Chatenay of Innisfail, Alberta, born in Red Deer, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Chatenay and Anne Chatenay; his brother Henri (Olive); and his children, Tammy and Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Olive; his children, Michael Chatenay (Sharon) of Agassiz and Chantal Goyan (Don) of Sylvan Lake; his sister Corinne Colwill of Calgary; his son-in-law Rob McFadden of Bragg Creek, Alberta.; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Jesse, Keaton, Hailey, Devin, Krysten, Allison, Jayden, Hannah, Paige and Cole.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Innisfail Alliance Church (4916 42 Ave, Innisfail, AB T4G1V2).
