She was predeceased by : her parents, Nellie Mekish and Louis Mekish (Joe Marcil); her son Victor Yurkowski; and her siblings, Napoleon Mekish, David Mekish, Vincent Mekish, Clemence Mekish, Gertie Mekish, Exilda Mekish, Olive Mekish and Marie Mekish.
She is survived by : her children, William Mekish (Gerilyn), Frank Yurkowski (Coleen), Nellie Guy and Robert Marcil (Shannon); her grandchildren, Lee-Ann (DJ), Daryl (Jill), Lorri-Ann (Pete), Cheryl (Vinny), Travis (Nicole), Cullen and Callum; and her great grandchildren, Malcolm (Kelsey), Marcus (Brittany), Kianna (Tate), Faith, Colton, Pete, Sophie, Evelyn, Talia and Atticus.
