He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Verbitsky and Steve Verbitsky. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his sons, Jason, David (Nancie), Mark (Mijke) and Ivan (Amy); his grandchildren, Victor, Ayla, Sigrid and Magnus; and his brother John (Phyllis).
