Leonard Hamelin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Hamelin of Innisfail, Alberta, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Leonard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leonard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his spouse Dagmar Kiechofel; his son Len Jr. Hamelin (Keo); his grandchildren, Victoria, Cassandra, Natasha, Dylan and Jordanna; his great grandchild Tanya Hamelin; and his siblings, David "Rusty" Hamelin (Shirley), Allan and Edith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
