Trixie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Trixie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her mother Marion Elsie Bowers. She is survived by: her husband David Short Sokoloff; her children, Paul Clayton (David Carpenter), Joseph David and Katherine Margaret (Sean Halliday); her nephew Michael Todd Fred Bowers (Kindrie Bowers); her father Clayton Frederick Bowers; and her siblings, Trudy Bowers-Flinn (Bob Flinn), Bev Bowers-Shepperd (Jason Shepperd) and Barry Bowers. She is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Heartland Funeral Home (4415 49 St, Innisfail, AB T4G1P3).
