Elsie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elsie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elsie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert; her daughter Cynthia Marie; her parents, William Uniat (Bill) and Helen Uniat; and her sister Dianne August (Lloyd).
She is survived by: her son Cory Hlus; and her granddaughters, Lily and Sarah. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Innisfree Recreation Centre (5024 54 St, Innisfree, AB T0B2G0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation" or the "St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church - Innisfree c/o Box 131, Innisfree, AB., T0B 2G0.".
