She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edgar Younker and Lillian Jane Younker; and her husband Chester John Green. She is survived by: her niece Marjorie Lawson; her siblings, Fred, Hazel, Milt, Alma and Claude; her children, John Charles (Lydia) and Susan Jane; her grandchildren, Nathan, Melissa, Leona, Esther, Dianne, Stephen, Stephanie, Curtis, Victoria, Rebecca and Abigail; her great grandchild Garrett; her grandchildren, Jenna, Keifer and Declan; her sister Irene MacKay (Younker); and her friend Kate. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Cemetery Beside the Old Auburndale United Church (473078 AB-41, Vermilion River County No. 24, AB T9X1Y8). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Avonglen Gospel Mission (470022 Range Rd 81, Irma, AB T0B2W0).
In lieu of flower bouquets, donations can be made to Avonglen Gospel Mission or the Canadian Cancer Society.
