He was predeceased by : his mother Donna Faye Blair; and his nephews, Christopher Besplug and Brian Prediger. He is survived by : his wife Jennifer; his children, Jessica MacDonald (Drew Garnaut) and Tyson MacDonald; his father David MacDonald; his stepmother Beverley MacDonald; his parents-in-law, Robert and Halon Ford of Irma; and his siblings, Dale MacDonald (Liane), Tim MacDonald, Dawnette MacDonald and Michelle Shepherd (Rick). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a local charity of the donors choice.
