With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward Alan Coffey of Irricana, Alberta, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Coffey and Ilien Coffey; and his pets, Fender, Kirby, Maya, Bowden, Fritz, Jake, Sheba, Coco and Lily.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie of Irricana; his sons, Sean (Savannah) and Matthew (Alice); his siblings, Jerry (Barbra) and Maxine; his nephew Daniel (Tara); his sister Linda (late Ron); and his nephews, Sam (Carolyn) and Joe (Damaris).

Ted accomplished much throughout his life and was particularly proud of doing good for the people of the town of Irricana while acting as CAO; including organizing both a town food bank from local businesses during the Covid-19 lockdowns, and a street party for the people in town.
