She was predeceased by: her father André Gagnon; and her sisters, Marilyn Gagnon and Louise Limoges. She is survived by: her mother Thérèse Gagnon; her husband Richard Duval; her daughter Stéphanie Duval (Brad Haspect); her siblings, Yvan Gagnon (Claudette Parent), Gisèle (Raymond Dallaire) and Dorine (Wade Evans); and her brother-in-law Léonard Limoges. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Joanne's name to the Callenish Society, an organization very dear to her heart, supporting all those who's life have been irrevocably changed by cancer. Donations may be made online, by phone, or mail.
