She was predeceased by: her father Robert Boden; and her brothers, Larry and Brian. She is survived by: her husband Norman; her children, Greg (Katy), Murray (Tanya), Loreen Van Petten (Jeff Martin) and Kevin (Michelle); her mother Florence Boden; and her siblings, Rod Boden (Lorna) and Linda Holewa (Klaus). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
