She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Holte and Cora Holte; and her siblings, Violet, Margaret, Joyce, Lorraine and Lloyd.

She is survived by : her siblings, Darlene, Vern and Leroy; her husband Leonard Johnson; and her children, Darrell Johnson (Judy), Ken Johnson (Doris), Roger Johnson, Cheryl Kraushar (Myron) and Marvin Johnson (Jennie).
