He was predeceased by : his parents, John Forster and Doris Forster; his siblings, Shirley Fossen and Bob Forster; his sister-in-law Laurie Forster; and his nephew Mike Forster.

He is survived by : his wife Leola; his son Brent; his grandchildren, Jayden, Kohl, Trey and Ryder; his daughter Jana (Randy); his grandchildren, Joshua, Xavier and Bentley; his siblings, Fred (Joyce), Bev (Hugh), Pat (Doug), Don (Barb) and Brian (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Jo Ann, Orville Fossen, Sharon Anchikoski (Rick) and Craig Stuve (Judy).
