He was predeceased by : his parents, Sverre and Mabel; his great grandchild Letley; his siblings, Cliff, Bob, Lloyd and Irene Burgess; and his siblings-in-law, John Leslie, Rod Doody and Ella Seidlitz.

He is survived by : his wife Susan; his children, Shelley (Kevin), Howard (Allison), Larry (Janelle) and Derek; his brother Carl (Bud); and his nephew Allan (Shirley).
