He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Darud and Mary Darud; and his siblings, Freddie and Kathleen Golka (Ernie). He is survived by: his wife Elsie Smolski; and his siblings, Halvor and Dianne Dennett (Jack).

The inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Killam Cemetery.
