He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Stehr and Marie Stehr; his brother Leland; and his son Bradley. He is survived by: his children, Nola Smith (Dwayne), Glenda Lien (Keith), Corinne Stehr (Ryan) and Erin Stehr; his brother Wayne Stehr; his granddaughters, Myra Cameron (Chris), Courtney Schultz (Mike) and Heather Cameron; his nieces, Pam and Laura; and his girlfriend Margaret Arnold.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sedgewick Community Church of the Nazarene.
Memorial donations in memory of James can be made to the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) or a charity of the donor's choice.
