Jason Belanger Obituary
The memory of Jason Belanger (Killam, Alberta), who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 45, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kathleen and Stan Hopfe; and his uncles, Dean and Brent Hopfe. He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Hopfe (Jake) and Angele Belanger; his sons, Ryan McLaughlin (Brook Constable), Deagen McLaughlin and Nixon McLaughlin; the mother of his children Lisa McLaughlin; his sisters, Heather (Bella) and Ashley; and his grandparents, Heather and John Geerligs. He is also survived by relatives, his in-laws and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hardisty Community Hall (4807 49 St, Hardisty, AB T0B1V0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jason's memory may be made to the Battle River Community Foundation.
