It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vera Peake (Killam, Alberta), born in Forestburg, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 98, on April 12, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ollie Swaren and Pleasington District; her husband William; her siblings, Willard, Floyd, Ed and Emily; and also, Jack, Dora, Mary (John) and Betty (Danny).
She is survived by : her siblings, Howard (Leona) and Leona; her sisters-in-law, Donna and Jen; and her children, Ed (Kathy), Marion and Dora (Garth). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Galahad Auxiliary or a charity of your choice.
