He was predeceased by: his aunt Laura Brodbin; his cousin Sonia Vokins; his stepparents, Jeanne Shostak and Ken Bober; and his grandparents, Mark, Olga Shostak, Micheal and Eileen Brodbin.

He is survived by: his wife Shirral Shostak; his children, Trayden, Rylee, Lukas and Toree; his parents, Janice Bober and Terry Shostak; his sisters, Adele Zack (Neil) and Maryann McAmmond (Blaine); his stepsiblings, Nick Lakusta (Cassandra), Alex Lakusta (Johanna), Jordan Bober, Jesse Jeffries (Brent), Jena Dooley (Bill) and Jaime Balash (Tyler); his siblings' children, Layne (Micaela), Sarah, Paige, Mark, Britt, Rosalie, Blair, Bree, Ellie, Kiera, Eoin, Remington, Walter, George, Kya, Brodin and Kaliana; his parents-in-law, Fred, Merna Gagnon and Rand Watson; his sister-in-law Chelsey Watson; Luxx. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kitscoty Hall (5202 51 St, Kitscoty, AB T0B0E1).
