With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Thiessen in La Crete, Alberta, whose life came to an end on October 16, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Thiessen and Maria Thiessen of Schoenwiese; his siblings, Mary, Helen, Bill, Peter, Cornie and Jake; his siblings-in-law, Susan Thiessen, Tina Thiessen, Martin Giesbrecht, Peter Letkeman and Glen Campbell; and his parents-in-law, Horace and Margaret Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda of Morden; his daughters, Jennifer Martens (Curt) of Altona, Cheryl Bischoff (Phil) of Kelowna and Gail Wichert (Jason) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Aimee (Andrew), Peyton Martens (Cody), Charlie, Lucy, Chloe Bischoff, Sabrina, Owen and Elliot Wichert; his great grandchild Barrett Merke; his sisters, Betty (John Toews), Kate (Ed Klassen) and Anne (Allen Recksiedler); and his siblings-in-law, Katherine Thiessen, Blair (Monica Campbell) and Linda Campbell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
