He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Romaniuk (Diatel); his parents, Gordon Romaniuk and Elsie Romaniuk; his stepmother Pearl Romaniuk; his son-in-law Bill Skoreyko; his siblings, Lillian Dilney (John), Ann Page (Mark), Reta Romaniuk, Jenny Huot (Simon), Paul Romaniuk, Nick Romaniuk and Allan Romaniuk (Elaine); his brother-in-law Earl Elliot; and his nieces, Katherine Bulter (Dilney) and Sandra Leh (Page).

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Skoreyko of Caslan, AB, Dean Romaniuk, James Romaniuk and Shiloah Romaniuk of High River, AB; his grandsons, Terrence Skoreyko of Calgary, AB, Tyler Skoreyko of Caslan, AB, Travis Skoreyko (Kristen) of Caslan, AB, Jakob Romaniuk of High River, AB and Nicolas Romaniuk of High River, AB; his great grandchildren, Trace Skoreyko, Talen Skoreyko and Tatum Skoreyko of Caslan, AB; and his sisters, Violet Elliot of Edmonton, AB and Lena Cole of Milton, ON..
