We announce the death of Buttons Hamelin of Lac la Biche, Alberta, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 62. Buttons will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Delina and Elizabeth Delina; her stepfather Robert McCallum Sr.; her siblings, Peter, Remi, Don-Simon, Richard, Randy, Bertha, Mary, Florence, Lucille and Annette; and her grandparents, Muglar, Bertha, Peter and Sarah.
She is survived by: her children, Stacy Dawn Hamelin (Aaron) of Kikino, AB and Bonnie Lee Hamelin of Fort McMurray, AB; her grandchildren, Felix Aaron, Skylar Dawn and Seth Ladouceur-Hamelin; and her siblings, Allan James, Robert Rolland Jr., David Bernard and Anna Marie.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mission View Funeral Chapel (133 Sentinel Dr, Lac la Biche, AB T0A2C0).
