He was predeceased by : his wife Dolores "Faye" Smith; his parents, Edward Smith and Jean; his siblings, Bertha Bota and Neal Malbeuf; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Malbeuf, Ron Bota, Keith Marcellus, John McInroy and Don Smith.
He is survived by : his children, Roger Smith (Annette), Glenda Dechaine (Jack), Shelley Plamondon (Cecil) and Linda Smith-Weymouth (Brian); his grandchildren, Dawn Blondeau (Dustin), Ashley Langdown, Kris Smith (Cassie), Kyle Smith (Tiffany), Matthew Dechaine (Amanda), Samantha Dechaine, Nicole Childs (Landin), Adam Dechaine, Jared Dechaine, Tyler Smith (Darleen Lee), Jaylynn Plamondon (Devon Craig), Bryan Weymouth (Leasa Lachance) and Kylee Weymouth; and his siblings, Dolly Marcellus, Helen Callihoo (Wayne), Joyce McInroy, Freda Mohr (Doug), Rhoda Smith, Violet Bias (Paul), George Malbeuf (Heather), Raymond Malbeuf, Donald Malbeuf, Howard Malbeuf (Elaine) and Jim Malbeuf (Evelyn). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
