He was predeceased by: his parents, Luce and Paul; his nephew David; and his brother-in-law Marvin Melnyk. He is survived by: his partner Fetinia Ganovicheff; his son Ben Gelinas (Madeline); his siblings, Anne-Marie (Marvin), Lucie, Andre (Faye), John (Cheryl) and Michael; Evelyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
