He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Elissa Skrabek; his parents, Annie Bereza and Alex Bereza; his siblings, Tillie Bereza and Marshal Bereza (Anita); his father-in-law Walter Maki (Ida); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Stuparyk and John Yurdiga.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Bereza; his children, Debbie Hebert (Gilles) of Bonnyville, Donna Cadieux (Harvey) and Dale Bereza (Linda) of Athabasca; his grandchildren, Jason (Sandra), Crystal (Trent), Lacey, Laurie (John), Chantel (Corey), Holly (Jesse) and Mandy; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Cole, Shea, Sheldon, Andrew, Everly, Isabelle, Mason, Madison, Liam, Verona and Scarlett; his siblings, Loveth Maki, Olga Bereza (Brian), Mary Fitch (Terry) of Martensville, Metro Bereza (Phyllis) of Kitimat, BC, John Bereza (Pierrette) of Ottawa, ON and Eleanor Halisky of Smoky Lake; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Maki (Marcelle) of Lacombe, Helen Stuparyk and Aileen Yurdiga of Grassland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
